2010 has been CRAZY so far! We started at the end of January with a trip to San Antonio for our good friends', Brandon and Erin's wedding. We had a great time! It was the first time we left Logan with a baby-sitter that wasn't one of our moms. A little nerve-wracking, but she did fine. Fun to see our friends and have some adult time.
2 weeks later we traveled to Pensacola, FL to visit my sister and brother-in-law, Teri and Ryan. My parents drove up from Malabar and it was great family time! Jason and Ryan ran in a 15K race over some bridges in Pensacola. It was Jason's first race and he trained hard for it. He discovered that he LOVES to run and I see many more races in our future! We took Logan to the beach for the first time. I so desperately wanted to get some cute beach pics of her, but it was freezing and WINDY! So, we'll try again.
2 weeks after that Jason went on a mancation bachelor party to Aspermont, TX with his buddies, leaving me and Logan to fly to OKC to visit his parents! We had a nice time-did some relaxing, some shopping and some cooking.
On March 2, my Aunt Linda passed away after a short battle with cancer. It was hard on the family, especially my mom. Logan and I flew to Tampa on short notice to be with her for a few days. It was great to spend time together and share wonderful memories of my aunt. I will miss her. Logan was Grandpa's girl on that trip! She couldn't get enough of him (and him of her!) He calls her his "Little L". Logan was army crawling all over that hotel room!
We had some great news also this month! I'm gonna be an Aunt!! Teri is pregnant! YAY! She and Ryan are so excited! They are convinced that they are having a boy! A cousin for Logan will be so fun!
And then last weekend, we went back to OKC for Hodges and Mandy's wedding (Logan is a seasoned traveler in her short little life)! We had an absolute blast! Love spending time with our friends! And it was a blizzard on the wedding day=CRAZY!
Logan and I are headed to my parents in Malabar in 2 weeks for a week-long visit! I am so excited! We'll try the beach pictures again and I'm sure Logan will have her first experience in a swimming pool!
She is crawling everywhere now and pulling up on everything she can reach! She squeals and giggles, and "talks". She loves EATING! She comes by that honestly! She loves her pears, bananas, sweet potatoes, peas, etc and recently became obsessed with cheerios! I LOVE watching her grow and learn. She brings so much happiness and joy to our lives.
Jason has had some changes at work and has been offered a position in Bossier City/Shreveport LA. We are working out details and discussing options, etc. Nothing's been decided yet, but I think it's safe to say that our lives aren't going to slow down any time soon!!
